St. Thomas Aquinas School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 20 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20 Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.

PE Teacher, Kaeleen Stoneburner, is excited to see kids rolling in the classroom soon. Kaeleen says: My hope is that we will be able to further your mission of teaching every kindergartener in America to ride a bike. This program will have a lasting impact on St. Thomas Aquinas School students for years to come. This program will definitely support our Wellness Policy which focuses on health, nutrition and physical activity. With the rise in childhood obesity, it is critical that schools offer students opportunities to learn lifelong skills that will
enhance their social, mental and physical well-being.

We wholeheartedly agree with the statement on your website: “Riding a bike is a developmental milestone that introduces a lifetime of confidence, mobility, joy, and overall well being.” Here at St. Thomas this is a goal we have for our students. We also look forward to utilizing your website to inspire and teach our students about your National Ambassadors and their success in life through using two wheels.
