ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC SCHOOL
NEWBURGH, IN
St. John the Baptist Catholic School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20 Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.

PE Teacher, Jonathan Day, is excited to see kids rolling in the classroom soon. Jonathan says: The All Kids Bike program would enhance our PE program by giving our students an opportunity they may not have at home. With this program, our students will get the opportunity to learn how to ride a bike which in turn provides physical activity which has become secondary for some to screen time. With this experience, we can push back against sedentary behaviors and give kids an opportunity that may in turn get the family out of the house and more physically active as well. Biking provides quite a few skills such as learning how to balance which is one of the standards we work on in PE class. St. John the Baptist would love for the opportunity to implement this into our PE program and allow kids the experience of biking."

All Kids Bike┬« is a national movement led by the Strider┬« Education Foundation, Inc. to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All Kids Bike is on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
