Slate Creek Elementary School
Newton, KS
Slate Creek Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20 Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.

Director of Business Services, Dr. David Becker is excited to see kids rolling in the classroom soon.  David says: "Biking is a confidence builder and a great way to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Our city has a bike to school program and through it’s Bike Master Plan has started installing bike lanes and designated trails. We would like to help foster all of these programs and initiatives. We want to see families out on bike rides. We want to see our children with the confidence to take on challenges and a great place to start is the challenge they face to balance a bike. We can already see the smiles on the faces of the children as they accomplish this.”

All Kids Bike® is a national movement led by the Strider® Education Foundation, Inc. to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All Kids Bike is on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
