Hometown Elementary of Putnam County Schools is seeking support for a fleet of 18 bikes, helmets, kickstands and curriculum.
"In our tiny little community of Hometown, WV, is a small school with big potential. Our school is home to 72 students, most of which have opted for in-person learning. Many of my students come from low socio-economic backgrounds but they are amazing, resilient, passionate kids. PE is an outlet for many of my kids, and it is often the highlight of their day. We have very low funding and fundraisers are not really an option for our families. Because of our funding, our physical education equipment is seriously lacking. If you choose to help fund our project, you will be giving my kids PE equipment that will give them some of the new experiences they crave." - Krista Smith, PE Teacher
