Pittsburgh Arlington PreK-8 Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 30 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20 Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.

PE Teacher, Alexandra Schanck, is excited to see kids rolling in the classroom soon.  Alexandra says: " The students at Pittsburgh Arlington PreK-8, a Pittsburgh Public Title 1 School, would be greatly impacted by bikes because more than three‑quarters of our students come from low‑income households. Knowing this information, it would benefit our students to learn a life skill of riding a bike so when they are older, they have a way to get around, beside walking. Riding a bike, is also promoting exercise, health, and wellness."

All Kids Bike® is a national movement led by the Strider® Education Foundation, Inc. to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All Kids Bike is on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
