Parkside Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20 Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.
PE Teacher, Eric Justiniano, is excited to see kids rolling in the classroom soon. Ericsays:" This program will give every K-1 student an opportunity to learn how to ride a bike and how to do so in a safe environment. We have partnered up with the Optimist Club in town and their vision is to get this bike program at the two other elementary schools we have in town as well. On top of that, they also want to develop a bike-a-thon with different biking events that students can participate in year after year. Our goal is to teach our students a life skill they can use every day in their home town. We have access to amazing bike trails that our community can take advantage of if they just knew more about it."
All Kids Bike® is a national movement led by the Strider® Education Foundation, Inc. to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All Kids Bike is on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
