Lillian C. Ruediger Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20 Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.

PE Teacher, Bawana Perry, is excited to see kids rolling in the classroom soon. -Bawana says: "The purpose of my request is to help receive funding (and bicycles) in order to teach my kindergarten students how to ride 2-wheel bicycles. Receiving this wonderful grant will allow me to add an additional method of a fun physical activity for the kids. In addition to that, the students will be actively engaged, increase their health, and give them confidence on being able to ride a bike. With my school's population being a Title 1 school, majority of the students don't have access to bicycles, which in turn, causes them not to have the opportunity to learn how to ride a bicycle. This grant would allow my students to participate in a fun program, give them the chance to ride a bicycle, and have a fun and safe environment to learn how to do so."

All Kids Bike┬« is a national movement led by the Strider┬« Education Foundation, Inc. to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All Kids Bike is on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
