Kinsey Elementary School is seeking support for a fleet of 25 Strider 14x AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, kickstands, one Strider 20 Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.
"My name is Joe Caslin. I am the Integration Specialist at Kinsey Inquiry and Discovery School in Flagstaff, Arizona. Our school is a public, place-based magnet school within the Flagstaff Unified School District. Place-based education utilizes the greater community of Flagstaff and its surroundings to provide educational experiences and connections for our students.
Kinsey is a Title One school site. Due to socioeconomic factors, far too many of our students have not learned or experienced the simple thrills of riding a bike. This program can directly impact our student experience! The bikes provided by All Kids Bike would be a tremendous addition to our Physical Education curriculum. Not only exposing our students to bike riding, this program will develop the coordination skills which are a foundational aspect of Kindergarten. Quite honestly, I was so excited to discover an organization like All Kids Bike existed. I truly believe that the mission of this organization and Kinsey School is a perfect match."
All Kids Bike® is a national movement led by the Strider® Education Foundation, Inc. to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All Kids Bike is on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
