John R Rodger Elementary School is seeking support for a fleet of 24 bikes, helmets, kickstands, and curriculum.
The Bellaire Schools Physical Education Department is looking for support to help develop an outdoor recreation program. The goal of this program is to expose students to outdoor activities that they can learn to enjoy for a lifetime. Our school is located along the beautiful Glacial Hills Pathway and Natural Area. We are very blessed to be located right along this system and plan to take full advantage of our location while also assisting in trail maintenance. Assisting in trail maintenance will teach students to respect and take care of the environment, allowing everyone to enjoy it longer. Bellaire is seeking donations in order to develop this program as fully as possible. We seek your support. With your support, students will be given the opportunity to grow and fully appreciate all the trails and biking opportunities beautiful Northern Michigan has to offer. Instilling these habits and hobbies from an adolescent age is the building block of living a healthy, well balanced life. We thank you for any contribution you are able to make! - Danny Rodts, PE/ Health Teacher
