Highland Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20 Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.
PE Teacher, Zachary Wyatt, is excited to see kids rolling in the classroom soon. Zacharysays:" The purpose of my request for the bikes is to bring something new and exciting to our program that has never been done before. It's to give students a chance to learn another activity that not only can lead into many different biking disciplines but also as a lifelong hobby that is a great cardio exercise. Being able to teach students how to ride will build confidence and show them they can learn new things. This will be a crucial lesson that will help them for the rest of their lives."
All Kids Bike® is a national movement led by the Strider® Education Foundation, Inc. to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations.
