Gators Bike Park is seeking support for a fleet of 18 bikes, helmets, kickstands, and curriculum.

You will be hard-pressed to find a PE teacher in Ohio who loves teaching kids how to ride a bike more than Rick Armstrong. Coach A is a PE teacher at Granby Elementary and has taught numerous children how to take their first pedal strokes, all with the use of balance bikes.  His dream is to outfit an entire class with balance bikes so he can take K-2 students out to Gators Bike Park for riding. Gators is located on school grounds and has served the community for several years.
The reason for TrailGators applying for the grant and not Granby Elementary is to allow more accessibility. The school cannot loan out any equipment to students outside of the Worthington School District. GBP Race Team serves all of central Ohio and has held numerous balance bike events over the summer. If TrailGators were awarded the bikes, not only could Granby students use them, but they could be used over the summer as well!
Our team is determined to create a truly unique recreational space that puts more kids on bikes.  We strive to get kids off the couch, away from screens, and into the seat. We hope you find our mission and vision as worthy as we do and decide to partner with us!

All Kids Bike® is a national movement led by the Strider® Education Foundation to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All Kids Bike is on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
