Frederick J Gaenslen School is seeking support for a fleet of 25 bikes, helmets, kickstands and curriculum.

Frederick J Gaenslen Elementary School is committed to assisting all students in reaching their academic, social and personal potential. We offer an amazing education with solid academics in each curriculum area. Classroom lessons integrate technology and real-world, practical application of knowledge and concepts. Our talented team of instructors works together to inspire learning through innovative teaching. Gaenslen offers an inclusive program where students in regular education learn alongside students with disabilities. We are equipped to serve students with severe special needs. Our students in K5 learn in classes with 18:1 student to teacher thanks to the AGR program! Gaenslen builds great relationships with students and families to ensure good support and strong communication. Learning to ride a bike is a critical skill for children. Children of all abilities gain physical strength, improved cardiovascular health, and a new ability to explore and interact with the world around them. Children with special needs, in particular, benefit from an increased range of motion and better trunk control--skills that can provide a better overall quality of life by making it easier for children to bathe, dress themselves, and participate in school and home activities. - Ann Terrll, MPS Foundation Director
All Kids Bike® is a national movement led by the Strider® Education Foundation to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All Kids Bike is on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
