FARM HILL SCHOOL
MIDDLETOWN, CT
Farm Hill School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20 Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.

PE Teacher, Shamika Jackson, is excited to see kids rolling in the classroom soon. Shamika says: The All Kids Bike program will have a significant impact on our school community. I believe our Farm Hill students will benefit because it provides them with not only the opportunity to learn riding skills but also will play a major role in their social-emotional development. This past Fall I piloted a bike program with grades 4-5 which was a huge success and I was able to witness first hand how impactful this unique opportunity provides our students with. The addition of All Kids Bike program will be the supplemental component of reaching riders at an even younger age as well as providing an equitable opportunity for all. My overall goal is to get all my K-5 students exposed to riding as another means of being safe & physically active and this is the missing piece of the puzzle."

All Kids Bike┬« is a national movement led by the Strider┬« Education Foundation, Inc. to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All Kids Bike is on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
