Clark Elementary School is seeking support for a fleet of 25 bikes, helmets, kickstands and curriculum.
Clark School District is a small, but growing, and vibrant school in eastern South Dakota. Clark Schools educate a diverse community of children from a variety of different backgrounds. Our school enrollment is growing more and more each year, and with our increasing enrollment we are becoming more aware different expectations for our students. The Clark School District would like the opportunity to use these bikes as a way to teach bike riding safety, increase balance and coordination, and to teach basic bike riding skills. Many of our students do not have opportunities to learn how to ride a bike. I am hoping with this grant we can teach our students how to make physical activity a lifelong commitment. - Tracy Stallman, Principal
