Brick Mill Early Childhood Center is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20 Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.
Principal, Tracy Calhoun, is excited to see kids rolling in the classroom soon. Tracy says, "At Brick Mill Early Childhood Center, we are privileged to have a physical education teacher that shares your passion for providing opportunities for ALL children to learn how to ride a bike. She has made a commitment to our district and entire MOT (Middletown, Odessa, and Townsend) Community to encourage and empower our young children to ride bikes. Not only does Lisa Guth makes this a part of her physical education program, she even meets members of our community at school in order to support the family in teaching this important skill! She has taught 547 students to ride bikes since 2016! As a new building, we need resources! She would like to continue her work, but needs your help! Your support would be making it possible to reach ALL of the K students that enter our building! Please consider supporting BMECC and the entire Early Childhood Center program in Appoquinimink School District!
All Kids Bike® is a national movement led by the Strider® Education Foundation, Inc. to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All Kids Bike is on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
We have been trying to teach my grand-daughter to ride her bike, she has been cautious and hesitant. We hope learning with other kids her age will help her to not only ride her bike, but love riding her bike.
