What is the Strider Education Foundation?
The Strider® Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) incorporated in South Dakota in 2017. The Foundation’s primary purpose is to distribute Learn-To-Ride programs to schools and organizations committed to teaching children, individuals with special needs, or the elderly how to ride.

What is All Kids Bike?
All Kids Bike® is a national movement, led by the Strider Education Foundation, to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations.

What is the relationship between All Kids Bike and the Strider Education Foundation?
All Kids Bike is a national movement administered by the Strider Education Foundation focusing on placing Learn-To-Ride programs into public schools via the Kindergarten PE Program.

Why Bikes?
Bicycling is simple but incredibly transformative for those that possess the skill of riding. Bicycling has the power to improve physical health, mental health, the environment, and much, much more.

Can I donate a bike?
We do not accept individual bike donations but would encourage you to seek out a local bike shop or recyclery in your community to donate a used bike to.


What is the Kindergarten PE Program?
The Kindergarten PE Program equips schools with everything teachers need to teach children how to ride bikes. The program includes teacher training and certification, a structured 8 lesson curriculum, a fleet of Strider 14x AKB-Specific Bikes, Pedal Conversion Kits, fully-adjustable helmets, one Strider 20 teacher instruction bike, and a 5-year support plan.

Where does the donated money go?
All money donated to the Strider Education Foundation is used to equip schools with bikes and helmets, train teachers on the curriculum, and support schools for 5 years of program implementation, to teach kids how to ride.

How much of my donation is tax-deductible?
100% of your donation is tax-deductible. You will receive a confirmation email of your donation with the amount donated. For all donations over $250, you will receive a tax receipt letter from Strider Education Foundation via USPS mail or email at the end of the calendar year in which you donated.


Is there a timeline for schools to reach their fundraising goal?
Yes, there is a Donation Designation Timeline. Donation Designation Timeline Terms outline schools will have a one-year period from the fundraising page launch date to compile the needed funds for the complete Kindergarten PE Program. Should a school not reach its fundraising goal in one calendar year from the launch date, funds will be disbursed into the All Kids Bike General Fund, and the school will remain on the waitlist. Waitlist schools that have not reached their fundraising goals are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis from the All Kids Bike General Funds.

Are there matching funds?
In the event matching funds become available, schools will be notified on a case-by-case basis.

Are there any fundraising perks for schools?
Schools receive a fundraising toolkit at the time of their application submission.
Each school will be featured on the All Kids Bike national crowdfunding platform when they have raised $1,000 toward their school's Kindergarten PE Program.

Once a school has raised $3,000, the school will be spotlighted in multiple national newsletters and email blasts.
