Los Angeles, CA
All Kids Bike is raising funds to support schools in the Los Angeles area who have expressed interest in bringing the Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Program to their school in order to help children safely develop balance, mobility, environmental awareness, and facilitate exercise.

"We are excited to partner with All Kids Bike to bring this incredible level of engagement to our Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD)  students. With the support of All Kids Bike, we are tackling childhood obesity by building confidence, muscle, endurance, and self-esteem one student at a time, through riding! " -- William Celestine, Director, LAUSD Wellness Programs

This partnership will bring together businesses, organizations, and individual community members to support the lifelong skill of learning to ride a bike through the Kindergarten PE Program. This program will provide sunnier days to kids in the Los Angeles area, and equip schools with everything they need to start the Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Program when the school bell rings once again.

Kindergartners at Bertrand Ave Elementary School in Reseda are already learning to ride with the All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Program! Principal Guzman shares her hopes for more students to be given this opportunity in her school district in this one-minute video!

Fundraising efforts will culminate with a press event in Los Angeles this fall, including an announcement and celebration of the implementation of the Kindergarten PE Program into Los Angeles Unified School District. More details to come!

All Kids Bike® is a national movement led by the Strider® Education Foundation to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. All Kids Bike is on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
